About Us

We are working together to bring the game of golf to more people. Golf has long been seen as a classist sport, and because of that, so many talented kids never even get the chance to try it. We could be missing out on some of the greatest players simply because access was never there. Through fundraising and collecting donated golf clubs, our goal is to open the doors of the game to underprivileged youth and start breaking down the barriers that have kept golf out of reach for too many. Everyone deserves a shot.

Our Story

FairwayAccess was created as a response to our experience with the access and opportunities available through golf. We are both current students at Delbarton School and as such, have been fortunate enough to be exposed to many aspects of the sport. However, we were equally aware of an unfortunate and glaring reality: there are literally millions of unused golf clubs sitting idle in the back rooms of suburban homes, garages, and pro shops; meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic young people don't have the very minimum amount of necessary equipment to even begin taking a swing.

We founded FairwayAccess to close that gap. Our mission is simple: to dismantle the barriers of cost and exclusivity by turning underutilized community equipment into direct opportunities for underserved youth.
